Alexandre became i2S’ CFO in January 2017, after joining i2S as designated CFO in November 2016. He is a member of the Corporate Executive Team and sits at the Board of Directors as a voting member. As part of his role at i2S, Alexandre is responsible for Global Finance and Core Business Services, which comprise many of the company’s key global functions, including Finance Services, Legal, Procurement and Real Estate.
Alexandre joined i2S after leaving GlaxoSmithKline plc, where he was Finance Director and Transformation Lead. He joined GlaxoSmithKline in 2011, as the Finance Director for the Pharma and HIV Business in Portugal, later becoming the leader of the Business Service Centre in GlaxoSmithKline headquarters in London.
After receiving a master’s degree in Economics from ISCTE in 1998, Alexandre joined Arthur Andersen, the firm specialised in Audit and Business Advisory Services. In 2006, he joined Ogilvy & Mather, as CFO.
Alexandre is an influential and a results-focused leader, with demonstrable successes in regional delivery of global projects. He is experienced in transformation and business restructuring, with particular dedication to strategy planning and deployment. His experience is supported by operational leadership, management planning and control, tax and risk management and sales target delivery.
Alexandre was also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of CAIS (charitable association) between 2011 and 2013, and currently mentors undergraduates as part of the ISCTE Mentoring Programme.Back
